On the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin, the National Museum of Australia
The story of this country is the theme of the National Museum of Australia, located in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. Exhibits range from children to science and technology, including many hands on displays and exhibits that allow you to explore much further than static displays.
Many of the displays are of the Icons of Australia, including the Holden FJ, the red Post Office Boxes and the true Lindy Chamberlain story.
The NMA is located in the National Monuments Triangle.
