Macarthur Park
Complete with a rose garden, was part of the land grant given to John Macarthur in 1806 by the NSW colonial government. This scenic park also has a Cenotaph for the soldiers from the region who gave their lives during WWI and a 1913 shelter built in memory of Elizabeth Macarthur Onslow.
This homestead has a collection of colonial buildings, including their historical sandstone coach house. Originally owned by the Chisholm family in 1827, there are sheep shearing demonstrations in the mornings. See the hard working sheepdogs guiding sheep around the paddocks, try boomerang throwing and try your hand at milking one of their cows. You can also sample some of their fine wines produced on the property.
