The city of Rockhampton is a good place for an extended stay. There are some 13 beautiful beaches between Yeppoon and Emu Park.
Rockhampton Art Gallery and Rockhampton’s Historical Village are well worth a visit for those seeking an artistic and historical perspective.

Discover local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and culture with a visit to Rockhampton’s Dreamtime Cultural Centre, 30 acres of natural bushland reserve on ancient tribal sites.
