Great Ocean Road Australia

The Great Ocean Road rates as one of the great scenic drives in the world. Southwest of Melbourne, the road winds its way along the south coast, much of it pristine with dramatic sweeping vistas of the coast and ocean. Along the way, there are national parks, sandy beaches and small fishing villages.

The Twelve Apostles and The London Bridge are just some of the natural wonders you will find in this beautiful part of Australia. Near Warrnambool at Tower Hill Game Reserve, there is an extinct volcano to explore, while the Great Ocean Walk from Apollo Bay takes you to within sighting distance of the 12 Apostles. The walk takes you past 96kms of untouched beaches, marine sanctuaries and through coastal National Parks such as Otway Ranges and Port Campbell.

About camping and more information on Victoria’s Parks including the Great Otway National Park and see Parks Victoria.
