Melbourne Restaurants at Albert Park

Shows the location of Albert Park on the map : Melbourne CBD Map.

Although Albert Park in Melbourne is known for its Formula One racing, it has also gathered an interesting collection of restaurants and other places to eat. Sitting between the city and the cityés beaches, it has created a name for itself for food:

Lina’s Bistro a Vin

This French Restaurant specializes in bistro style cooking with the added pleasure of Mauritian specials. You will find some classic dishes in the entrées and mains, as well as some interesting variations made from in season locally sourced ingredients. My choices included the Sauteed Prawns, with Pastis, garlic, dill and créme fraiche, while my partner chose Grilled Local Asparagus Salad, both were delish!

From the mains I could not resist trying the Roasted Rack of Lamb while my opposite chose the Pad-Fried Gippsland Eye Fillet. Both melted in our mouths and were full of flavour... As well, the bar has a fine selection of wines as well as finger food.
