There is a new and convenient bus service that runs about every ten minutes in a loop around the city centre, making it much easier to get around for visitors. Not only that, it is a free service so you can’t really complain about the price: Route 101.
The buses are suitable for wheelchairs, prams and strollers.
The buses on route 101 will have buses approximately every ten minutes running along the loop. Starting at 7am in the morning, it will run Mon to Fri till 10pm.
The bus route not only takes you to the City Walk where you can access many of Canberra’s attractions, but also past the main bus central stations, so you quickly access other parts of Canberra

Another popular way to explore Canberra is the Hop On, Hop Off tour buses which run past just about all of Canberra’s attractions.
Tickets are available on the bus from the driver. At time of writing, they were $30 for the day, with family and senior discounts available.
