Another attraction here is the chance for drinks and food, there is a good selection of bars with great views as well as restaurants, cafés and other places to eat. You can also choose from a number of places for breakfast for those early risers:

Along with great views of the ocean and Coogee Beach, you can find tasty food at Barzura, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days/week. You can also enjoy their wine menu as well as cocktails and other drinks. Their spaghetti with seafood, including prawns, calamari and fish is truly memorable, they also do great steaks:

For Asian with ocean views, you cannot go past the Sugarcane, an Asian and vegetarian friendly restaurant, they also do breakfast, who can resist Balinese Fried Rice in the morning (well I can’t, ok?). Still, lunch and dinner are also a treat, from Roti to fresh Kingfish. Try their Betel Leaf entrée first, though!:

Coogee Pavilion

At the Merivale Coogee Pavilion, they have a great selection of not only Sashimi, but a grill menu with everything from sausages, pork chops, chicken and steaks. Thereis also a bar, you can enjoy the view from the rooftop, you can’t get much closer to the beach without walking on sand:

La Spiagga

No review of Coogee Restaurants is complete without La Spiagga, they specialise in tasty dishes, many from authentic Lombardo recipes. with a great selection of wines, both imported and Australian varieties. Their pizzas are woodfired, who can complain about that?:

Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Their menu varies with what is fresh, so you can expect a tasty meal, or even just a coffee and a treat. Dinner sees a choice between a light meal or something more hearty, such as seared ocean trout. They also do a great Moroccan spiced lamb ribs. Their menu is not large, but delicious:
