Situated at the mouth of the Richmond River, Ballina has an al fresco atmosphere, with great restaurants and cafés. Being a cultural centre for the region, you will find plenty to do here, as well as finding some great shopping bargains.

In the surrounds are a number of places to visit, including the small towns of Alstonville, Newrybar, Wardell and Lennox Head, NSW.

Ballina Naval and Maritime Museum

With the largest collection of naval and merchant ships in the country, this museum will give you plenty to see. There are interactive exhibitions about the Royal Australian Navy, the Merchant Navy and special changing displays. Located on Regatta Ave, on the Richmond River.
