LOCATION: SURFERS PARADISE, QLD
Surfers Paradise was named for a good reason - great weather, sand and surf, with a very active nightlife to go with it. Which is what most surfers would probably ever want but there is also great shopping for everyone else, an excellent ever growing number of restaurants and eateries for breakfast to late dining, with lots to do during the day and entertainment at night.
Which is why Surfers has not only been such a big attraction to visitors from overseas, but Australians for a very long time and will continue to do so. For those seeking less hustle and bustle, trips further north are well worth doing, Queensland is as beautiful as it is sunny. With a stop off in Brisbane Queensland.
Note: Seasons in Australia are reversed to the Northern Hemisphere - i.e. Winter is June to August with spring in September to November, Summer is December to February. Australia has a temperate climate, with over 340 sunny days per year. Summer can have strong sunny days so wear a hat and sunscreen between 10am and 3pm (when outdoors!). Summer average temperature 22 Celsius, Winter avg. temperature 13 Celsius.
Surfers and the Gold Coast have a wide collection of Attractions & Tours, Creative Things to Do, Driving Experiences, Adventure and Extreme, Family Things to Do, Flying, Getaways, Activities for your Group, Outdoors, Pampering experiences, Water Activities, and ample places to Wine & Dine.
