Constitution Dock
Constitution Dock serves as the finish line for the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and the Melbourne to Hobart Race every year. Many of the old Georgian warehouses have been restored with shops and restaurants.
Built in 1831, and designed by John Lee Archer as the chapel for the prisoners barracks. One of Tasmania’s most historic buildings. There are tours of the execution yard and cell blocks available.
Built 1819 by Thomas Reiby. His mother had been "transported" to Sydney at the age of 13, where she eventually became a very succesful businesswoman. Also has a green house, chapel, coach house complete with stables.

Salamanca Place has been a gathering place for mariners for a long time. Now redeveloped, it continues to attract visitors the year round. Every Saturday, with exceptions for Christmas Day and ANZAC Day, there is a market held here. You can also find Parliament House, one of the oldest surviving buildings in Hobart and the Salamanca Arts Centre. A growing collection of galleries, theatres, cafes, craft shops and restaurants have been centered here.
