Sydney Fun Park

Luna Park is a fun park and a familiar landmark, with most Sydneysiders having fond memories of their childhood when they had spent time here. The traditional clown face still marks its front gate and is easily seen from the city at Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House.

Filled with rides such as the Rotor, Wild Mouse, Moon Ranger, Space Shuttle and Dodgems, the park has been providing entertainment for the young at heart since 1935. It still continues today, with easy access from the city at Circular Quay, a short ferry ride away.

Aside from providing great views of the city, the harbour bridge and other landmarks, Luna Park is also situated next to the North Sydney Pool, which if you have the right entry ticket from the park you can also get free entry there, making it a great day out for summer.

The thorough renovations, completed in 2004, kept much of its original heritage unique features enabling it to be registered in the State Heritage Register.
