Brighton Beach Melbourne

This Melbourne beach suburb on the Bay of Port Phillip has the reputation of being the cleanest of the many beaches located along this large bay. Just south of St. Kilda and north of Sandringham beaches, you can find some great restaurants and cafes on Bay Street, just 5 minutes walk from the beachfront.

The beach huts, symbolic of Melbourne Australia and its beach suburbs, command high prices when they come up for sale - an extremely rare event. Still, on a hot summers day, this beach is normally patrolled by lifesavers and popular with visitors and locals alike.
