North Melbourne Precinct

There are numerous historical places in this part of the city. The Melbourne Zoo is not far from here, as is the Victoria Market and the Flemington Racecourse.

In the North Melbourne Precinct you can also find great places to eat including international restaurants and coffee shops, as well as some creative places to shop. At North Melbourne Books, an independent bookshop, there is an excellent collection of not only classics but a good range of children’s and young adult books, including the latest releases.

The Arts House
