In the park, Careys Peak Lookout is an easy walk, with stunning views and a picnic area. Other walks also have excellent views of the surrounds, including the Corket trail and the Devils Hole lookout. On the Antartic Beech Forest walk, there is rainforest and crystal clear cascading waterways.

Guided tours are available. Mountain biking is welcome here as is fishing between October and May, as well as horseriding.
