The beautiful Barossa Valley, just an hours drive from Adelaide is famous for its wines. This wine growing region grows crisp Rieslings and Australiar’s noted Penfolds Grange Hermitage.

Visitors to Barossa Valley will find historical villages and farms amongst the vineyards. All of the vineyards operate cellar doors with samples of their wines for you to try.

There are a number of tours available from Adelaide, helping to avoid entanglement with the strict drink driving laws in Australia. Some include gourmet lunch with locally produced wines, making for a pleasant day out.
